2PE/3PE Coated Pipe
2PE and 3PE coated pipes are highly efficient, anti-corrosion steel pipes that feature polyethylene anti-corrosion layers bonded to their outer walls. The 2PE layer is composed of adhesive and polyethylene, while the 3PE layer incorporates an epoxy powder primer atop the 2PE structure.
These pipes exhibit strong adhesion of the anti-corrosion layer, as well as excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, and soil corrosion, significantly extending their service life. They are widely used in long-distance oil and gas pipelines, as well as in chemical fluid transmission projects, making them the preferred anti-corrosion solution for buried pipelines.
